OUR FOUNDER

I am Sylvia Krajewski, originally from New York City, now journeying across the globe to discover the most environmentally friendly product designs. My aim is to inform consumers about the remarkable stories behind these innovations, their groundbreaking manufacturing processes, and their dedication to sustainability.

With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a Master's in Architectural Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, my academic journey has revolved around designing architectural systems that incorporate environmental design and renewable technologies. During this time, I participated in various sustainability charrettes, competitions, and even mentored university students.

Years of experience in construction management across New York City and Silicon Valley opened my eyes to the harsh reality of waste generated by the building industry. This revelation became even more profound when I moved to San Francisco, where my appreciation for the environment grew, and my leisurely kayak rides evolved into plastic cleanup missions in the bay.

Living part-time in Gdańsk, Poland, for the last three years, I continued to encounter plastic pollution in outdoor parks and beaches. Even my vacations in Hawaii turned into beach cleanup efforts, inspiring fellow beachgoers to join in.

While designing and sourcing materials for my first home in 2021, I discovered that finding eco-friendly and sustainable products required immense research and effort. This realization motivated me to become an agent of change, committed to promoting smart, stylish, and sustainable products from around the world.

From bustling cities to remote villages, I am on a quest to uncover these remarkable products and share their stories. As my mentor, Baldev Duggal, once said, "I want to leave the world a better place than the one I came into." This sentiment resonates with me as I strive to make the world cleaner and more sustainable by raising global awareness of innovative design that challenges our modern culture's wastefulness. My hope is that one day, everyone will make more responsible purchases, recognizing that every choice has an impact on the world around us.
